Sweep Galaxy Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026
Effective date: September 18, 2026

1. Who Is Responsible and What This Policy Covers

Sweep Galaxy is provided by the Sweep Galaxy development and operations team ("we," "us," or "our"). We are responsible for personal information handled in connection with the App, its features, and our customer support. Contact us at joyfeedback@outlook.com.

This policy explains what information is accessed on your device, what limited information may reach us outside your device, why it is used, and your available controls. Accessing information locally is distinguished from collecting it on a server. The policy does not govern independently operated websites, stores, email services, or applications that you choose to use outside Sweep Galaxy.

Please read this policy before using the relevant features. If you do not wish to allow a particular optional activity, decline its permission or do not use that feature. If you do not accept processing necessary to provide the Service, you may stop using and delete the App. Acknowledging this policy, installing the App, or continuing to use it does not by itself supply consent for processing that legally requires a separate choice or limit your statutory rights.

2. Our In-House AI and Its Data Boundary

Sweep Galaxy’s AI service is independently developed by our team. We do not use third-party AI service providers or send AI processing data to third parties. In the version described by this policy, AI analysis runs entirely on your device. Neither our servers nor external AI servers receive the content processed by these features.

This boundary covers input photos, videos, audio, text, content supplied to an AI feature, content-derived representations such as embeddings, and AI outputs. We do not route them to external model APIs, remote inference services, or third-party model-training platforms, including through analytics or crash-reporting tools.

We do not use your content or content-derived features to train or fine-tune our models or anyone else’s models. Local processing authorization is not permission to build a training dataset, identify you from a face, or create a biometric identity profile. Device-level APIs used to access authorized information are not permission to transmit that information for third-party AI processing.

Apple’s store and system services, and the email service used when you voluntarily contact support, are separate from our AI processing. Their limited roles are described below. The AI commitment is not a representation that no information ever leaves your device when you send an email or use your own system synchronization.

3. Information Used for Each Activity

3.1 Photo, video, and camera functions

When you request an available photo-management feature and authorize access, the App reads the permitted photos or videos and the metadata needed to compare, group, or organize them, such as file size, format, dimensions, and creation time. Camera access is requested only if you initiate an available capture feature. Permission is not used to access unrelated device content.

Images are processed on your device, are not uploaded to our servers, and are not shared with third parties. We do not extract, collect, store, or share facial-feature data, maintain facial-feature databases, or use photos for biometric identity verification. Temporary image-processing copies are discarded when the operation completes. This does not delete your original photos or an output you expressly choose to save.

Read permission allows analysis; changes to your library are made only following your instruction and any required system authorization. You review the proposed selections before deletion or modification. Limited photo access may restrict results to the items you allow. You can change or revoke access in iOS Settings.

3.2 Audio and microphone

When you choose an available audio-processing feature, the App accesses only audio that you select or import and the information needed for that operation, such as file name, format, size, and duration. If the feature supports recording and you initiate it, microphone access is requested first. Selecting an existing audio file does not itself authorize recording. We do not activate the microphone or record ambient conversations without your action and permission.

Audio content, temporary audio features, and any transcript or other result produced by an available feature are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, sent to third-party AI providers, or used to train models. We do not create voiceprint identity profiles. Temporary working copies are discarded after processing; your original recordings and results you choose to save remain under your control. You may stop recording and revoke microphone access in device settings. Please obtain any required permission from people whose voices you record or process.

3.3 Text

The App processes text you actively type, paste, import, or select for an available feature, along with text extracted locally from authorized images or audio when that feature is available. It is used only to complete your chosen operation and display or save its result. We do not read your clipboard in the background or access unrelated messages, email, or documents.

Text inputs, extracted text, temporary representations, and AI results remain on your device and are not sent to our servers or third-party AI providers or used for model training. Temporary working data is discarded after the task; saved text and results remain until you delete them or remove the relevant local data. Text you voluntarily send in a support message is handled separately under Section 3.5.

3.4 Technical information and diagnostics

Technical information available through standard iOS system interfaces may include operating-system type, name, and version, device model, App version, a device or installation identifier such as a UUID where available, crash information, and feature-usage or performance events. We use only the information necessary to operate, diagnose, secure, and improve the reliability and performance of the App. A UUID or IP address can be personal information; we do not describe such identifiers as inherently anonymous.

Technical processing does not authorize transmission of your photos, videos, audio, text, AI inputs, or AI outputs. We do not use an advertising identifier or combine technical information with activity across other companies’ apps or websites. This version does not send analytics or diagnostics to third-party analytics SDKs. Diagnostics may reach us when you choose to submit a report or when Apple makes developer diagnostics available under your device’s sharing settings.

If you connect to an online resource operated by us, the receiving endpoint necessarily receives connection information, including an IP address and request time. It is used only for delivery, troubleshooting, and security. Local scanning and AI processing do not require uploading your content with such requests.

3.5 Support communications

If you email joyfeedback@outlook.com or initiate an available support channel, we receive what you choose to send: your email address, any name you provide, the message, and any attached screenshot, diagnostic report, or other information you voluntarily provide about the issue. We use it to investigate your request, respond, maintain support records, and improve assistance. Please redact unnecessary personal information and do not send complete unrelated personal data.

Sending an attachment to support is a separate, user-initiated disclosure, not part of the App’s automatic AI workflow. Support correspondence is not submitted to third-party AI tools or used for model training. Emails sent to our Outlook mailbox are processed by Microsoft’s email infrastructure as part of delivery and storage.

4. Permissions, Tracking, and Advertising

Camera, microphone, and photo-library read/write permissions are requested in the context of the relevant available feature. You may refuse or withdraw them. Only features that need the refused access are affected; permission to one category does not authorize another. We do not bypass limited-access settings.

This version does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising or attribution, share personal information for targeted advertising, or request App Tracking Transparency (“ATT”) authorization for such tracking. It does not share data with marketing or attribution partners. Your system tracking setting remains under your control in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security and Tracking where available.

If a future release proposes tracking, it must first provide an updated, specific disclosure and obtain the authorization required by applicable law and Apple’s ATT framework. Refusing tracking will not remove core functionality; any permitted advertising would not be personalized using unauthorized tracking. ATT approval would never independently authorize transmission of photos, videos, audio, text, or AI content.

5. Purposes and Legal Grounds

We use information to perform operations you request, respond to support and privacy inquiries, troubleshoot faults, protect the service, and meet applicable legal duties. We do not repurpose your personal library for marketing or unrelated profiling, and we do not sell personal information.

Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity: performance of our agreement for requested services; consent for optional activities requiring it; legitimate interests in proportionate security and troubleshooting where permitted and not overridden by your rights; and legal obligations for required recordkeeping or disclosures. A device permission and a legal basis are related but not interchangeable. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

6. Recipients and Disclosures Outside AI

We do not grant third parties general access to your device content. The limited categories below do not create an exception allowing AI content to be sent to external AI providers:

If a service provider lawfully processes information on our behalf, its access must be limited to the purpose, protected appropriately, and subject to applicable obligations. Adding a recipient requires a factual disclosure before the new processing begins and additional consent where required; this paragraph is not advance permission to add undisclosed SDKs.

7. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Where the App offers a local clear/delete control, you may use it. Otherwise, deleting the App removes its ordinary local container; offloading it may retain data. Removing the App does not necessarily delete separately saved photos, videos, audio, text, system backups, or correspondence in our support mailbox. We cannot erase backups or synchronized copies controlled by your device account provider.

Our AI processing does not transfer data internationally because it stays on the device. Support email and platform system services may involve systems outside your country. Where an international transfer for which we are responsible requires legal safeguards, we apply an available lawful transfer mechanism and the required protections. You may contact us for information about the handling of your support records and applicable safeguards.

8. Your Controls and Privacy Rights

You may review and change device permissions, restrict photo access, stop using a feature, delete local results, and contact us about information we hold. Where applicable, your legal rights may include access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction or objection, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to your local data-protection authority. Applicable US state rights may also include opting out of sale, targeted-advertising sharing or certain profiling, authorized-agent requests, and appeal of a denied request. We do not sell personal information or engage in the advertising sharing described above.

Send a request to joyfeedback@outlook.com, identifying the App and the relevant activity. We may request proportionate verification without demanding unnecessary sensitive information. We respond within the period required by the law that applies to your request, explain any permitted refusal or extension, and provide appeal information where required. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a protected right. We cannot retrieve, export, or remotely delete device-only information that never reached us; we will explain available local controls.

9. Children and Family Use

Sweep Galaxy is not directed to children under 13 or, where applicable, children below the digital age of consent in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect their personal information without any legally required parental authorization. Parents and guardians should supervise device access and review permissions. If you believe a child supplied information improperly, contact joyfeedback@outlook.com. We will investigate and promptly delete information we hold where required, and explain how local data may be removed.

10. Security and System Services

We use proportionate technical and organizational safeguards, including permission-limited access, restricted staff access to support records, and protections appropriate to the information handled, to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No electronic storage or network transmission is free of risk, and we cannot promise absolute security. We address suspected incidents and provide notices when legally required.

Your own iCloud, device backup, share-sheet, or external-link choices are governed by their respective providers. For example, a deletion you approve may synchronize to other devices. Such system behavior is distinct from our AI service and does not authorize us to send content to an external AI service.

11. Updates and Contact

We may revise this policy when functions, practices, or legal requirements change. We update the dates above and give prominent notice of material changes through the App or another appropriate channel before they take effect where required. Please review this policy periodically for the latest information. A new purpose, recipient, or permission that requires consent will not be authorized merely by posting an update or by your continued use.

For questions, complaints, requests, or details about our practices, contact joyfeedback@outlook.com. We aim to respond promptly and comply with applicable response deadlines.
